Data Center Technician
Fully on-site - Any variation, including night shift (Sunday-Wednesday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM/ Sunday-Wednesday 7:30 AM-6:00 PM / Wednesday-Saturday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM / Wednesday – Saturday 7:30 AM-6:00 PM. The first two weeks will be Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00)

Must-haves
- 1+ years IT support experience, hardware or cabling preferred
- Experience with a ticketing system and proven ability to manage priorities in the system
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, preferably Linux
- Understanding of network design/protocols, storage devices and scripting languages
- Must be capable of lifting 35lbs
- Ability to problem solve individually and work in a production environment

Day-to-Day
We're looking for Data Center Technicians to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. A typical day in this role includes troubleshooting and repairing servers with hardware and network issues. The main responsibilities of the position involves hardware diagnostic and replacement of failed components. The Technician will be responsible for utilizing a ticketing system to perform incident management of servers and networking equipment, including project work and capacity management.
Notes
- Troubleshoot servers, on your feet a lot, hands on position where you are fixing things
- Looking for entry level IT professionals
- Look for experience that is similar to desktop support roles (technicians)
- It's a hands on job
- Could have 6 months to 0 years of experience (not a lot of experience needed)
- Candidate has to be flexible, open to change and learning new things/processes (they will be learning something new if they are hired)
- Need composite toe shoes (work boots) --> investment into your career
