Supervisor of Admissions/Patient Access
The Supervisor of Admitting is responsible for the 24/7 oversight and coordination of Bed Management operations, ensuring efficient patient throughput across the organization. This role provides direct leadership for Labor & Delivery (L&D) admitting workflows, while also supporting operational excellence within the Emergency Department (ED) registration area. This position plays a critical role in aligning patient access functions with hospital capacity management, patient flow, and revenue cycle performance. The Supervisor ensures timely, accurate, and patient-centered registration processes while partnering closely with clinical, nursing, and administrative leaders to optimize bed placement and reduce delays in care.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of Patient Access, Admitting, or Bed Management experience, with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of hospital operations, patient flow, EMTALA, and revenue cycle processes
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic) and eligibility/estimation tools
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
