Senior Structural Project Engineer (Hybrid) – Portland, ME
Seeking an experienced Structural Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of commercial, institutional, and mixed-use building projects throughout New England. This role will manage projects from concept through construction while collaborating closely with clients, architects, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, wood, precast, and cold-formed metal structures
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client relationships across multiple projects
• Prepare construction documents, calculations, specifications, and technical reports
• Support construction administration including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and field observations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development efforts
Qualifications:
• BS in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis (MS preferred)
• PE license required
• 10+ years of structural building design experience
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and related codes
• Proficiency with Revit, RAM, Bluebeam, and MS Office
