The Collection Specialist will be responsible for the collections portion of the business. Within this area, the incumbent is accountable for achieving corporate collection goals and providing timely and accurate information to management for dissemination throughout all divisions of Tyler.
As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with external customers on all collection issues, including making collection calls.
- Work with other members of the collections team to determine and carry out the best method to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Issue statements, provide invoice copies, and create accounts receivable adjustments as needed.
- Provide statements, invoices and information to internal and external customers as needed to assist in resolving collection issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of collection experience
- Experience with collecting high value transactions
- Accounting background desired
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)
- Strong analytical, communication and customer service skills
- Excellent phone manner
State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements
Salary will generally fall between $37,773 - $55,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
