Senior Trainer/Facilitator

CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are seeking a Senior Trainer/Facilitator to support the Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP). This position is responsible for delivering TAP-related instruction, counseling support, and workshop facilitation for transitioning Service Members and Family Members. The selected candidate will support classroom delivery, transition planning, workshop management, client progress tracking, and ensure high-quality service delivery in compliance with program standards.
Responsibilities- Facilitate and instruct TAP workshops, transition briefings, and classroom-based learning events.
- Provide individual counseling support and guidance to transitioning Service Members and Family Members.
- Assist clients with Individual Transition Plans (ITPs), resume development, career planning, and transition-related questions.
- Coordinate classroom setup, scheduling, materials, and local workshop execution to support TAP requirements.
- Track client progress and participation, ensuring required deliverables and milestones are completed.
- Conduct follow-on counseling and provide additional support as needed throughout the transition process.
- Support regional outreach efforts, education and employment events, career fairs, and installation support activities.
- Collect client feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program delivery and outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with program requirements, policies, and reporting standards.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging instruction to individuals and small or large groups.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and counseling skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge of military transition programs, workforce development, career counseling, and adult learning principles.
- Curriculum development and instructional design experience.
- Experience conducting program evaluations and using customer feedback to improve training outcomes.
- Familiarity with case management, client tracking, and reporting systems.
- Master's degree preferred in Training and Development, Human Resources Management, Counseling, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of career counseling, education, workforce development, training, or related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted with additional relevant experience.
- Experience facilitating training, workshops, counseling sessions, or educational programs.
- Experience supporting diverse client populations in a customer-focused environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must successfully complete a National Agency Check (NAC) and applicable background investigation requirements.
Preferred Experience- Experience supporting the Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP), workforce transition programs, military education, or veteran support initiatives.
- Military veteran or military spouse experience.
- Experience providing career counseling, employment readiness training, or transition support services.
- Experience developing or modifying curriculum and training materials.
