Construction Coordinator III
Location: Atlanta, GA-
Key Requirements
- Construction experience with both coax and fiber networks (required)
- Ability to read and interpret network design prints
- Basic computer skills, including:
- Microsoft Office
- Smartsheet
- Microsoft Teams
- P2
- Reliable transportation
- Network Maintenance Technician experience is a plus
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct field construction quality audits (approximately 80% field work, 20% office work)
- Inspect and audit:
- Nodes
- Amplifiers
- Power supplies
- Fiber taps
- Enclosures
- Other outside plant infrastructure
- Complete audit documentation and closeout activities
- Verify corrective actions and rework completion
- Support troubleshooting and job clearance activities
- Communicate with business partners and internal teams
Responsibilities
- Create and manage jobs through JT/Polaris
- Track project milestones throughout the construction lifecycle
- Manage exceptions and SLA compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (BOC, CPM, FPM, Sales)
- Create funding requests and manage purchase orders
- Handle material management and reconciliation
- Review contracts and project estimates
- Perform administrative and milestone quality control
- Validate permits, invoices, materials, photos, and project documentation
- Ensure all project milestones are accurately updated and closed
Travel: Required; some audit locations may be 3–4 hours away with overnight hotel stays provided.
