Position details:
- Pay rate: $20.00/hour
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Type: Temp to hire opportunities
- Weekly pay offered
Key responsibilities:
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be vital to our warehouse operations. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating a Crown high reach forklift to efficiently load and unload pallets in a temperature-controlled environment ranging from 20°F to -20°F.
- Executing put-away and replenishment tasks, ensuring optimal product placement during truck loading and unloading operations according to the existing warehouse management system.
- Facilitating inventory movement while adhering to cold-protective PPE requirements.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Following inventory count instructions and reporting any damaged products.
- Performing general warehouse support duties while upholding safety standards, including keeping material handling equipment in good condition.
Work environment:
This position requires working in a freezer environment where temperatures range from 20°F to -20°F for extended periods. Parts of the facility, including storage and production areas, may be kept at lower temperatures. Candidates must be comfortable standing, lifting, and walking in refrigerated zones for 12-hour shifts. A freezer suit and bump cap will be provided to ensure your safety and comfort.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience operating a Crown high reach forklift.
- A strong ability to work in a freezer environment without hesitation.
- The physical capability to stand for long hours, with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds comfortably.
