General Manager – Industrial Services Operations

An established and growing industrial services organization is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a multi-location operation across the U.S. This role is ideal for a commercially minded operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building high-performing teams, driving growth, and leading change.
Reporting to senior leadership, the General Manager will oversee operational performance, financial results, customer relationships, and strategic growth initiatives across multiple remote sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across multiple U.S. locations
- Own full P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profitability
- Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and scalable growth initiatives
- Develop and strengthen customer relationships, including support of key commercial agreements
- Partner closely with operations, finance, HR, safety, and other corporate functions
- Lead and develop teams through coaching, succession planning, and performance management
- Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and operational discipline
- Support capital projects from planning through execution
- Lead organizational and process transformation initiatives with minimal business disruption
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of leadership experience within industrial, technical, or field service environments
- Proven success managing multi-site operations and leading distributed teams
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with direct P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change and operational improvements
- Track record of developing high-performing teams and future leaders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related experience preferred
Preferred Background
Experience within industrial services, energy, manufacturing, mechanical services, calibration, flow measurement, inspection, or related technical service sectors is highly desirable.
