Pay: 16-20 (DOE)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Saw Operator to cut metal materials to specified lengths using band saws or circular saws. The ideal candidate ensures accuracy, efficiency, and safe machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate saw equipment to cut metal to required dimensions
Read and interpret cut lists and blueprints
Measure and verify material before and after cutting
Perform basic machine setup and blade changes
Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
Qualifications:
1-2+ years of saw or fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Basic mechanical aptitude
