Skills Required
Primary (Must-Have):
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or material handling environment
• Basic PC and computer data entry skills
• Comfortable working in freezer environments up to -20°C
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Basic math and inventory handling skills
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
• Ability to accurately pick, pack, and stage materials/orders
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow cGMP and workplace safety procedures
Secondary (Good to Have):
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with SAP or WMS systems
• Forklift or pallet jack experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or manufacturing industries
Position Overview
The Material Handler I will support warehouse and distribution operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material movement within a regulated environment. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in cold storage conditions while maintaining compliance with cGMP and safety standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to efficient warehouse operations and ensure proper handling and tracking of materials.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Pick, pack, stage, and move materials and customer orders accurately
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials
• Load and unload freight while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Support manufacturing material requests and internal material transfers
• Process scrap materials and returned goods in compliance with company guidelines
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas
• Always follow cGMP requirements and workplace safety procedures
• Perform inventory handling and data entry activities accurately within warehouse systems
• Support cold storage operations in freezer environments up to -20°C
• Assist with additional warehouse and distribution tasks as assigned
