About the Role
We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to support multiple locations across our Northeast and Midwest regions and play a key role in delivering high-impact HR support across the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire onboarding
- Support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through termination
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Partner with internal recruiters and staffing agencies
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Partner with leaders on hiring, promotions, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Support employee relations matters including complaints and policy guidance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
HR Programs & Administration
- Administer HR policies, programs, and procedures
- Support benefits administration, FMLA/STD/LTD processes
- Assist with annual open enrollment and wellness initiatives
Culture & Engagement
- Support initiatives that promote a strong and positive employee culture
- Maintain employee communication boards and engagement efforts
- Contribute to programs aligned with the ANDRITZ #1Andritzway culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2–4 years of HR or administrative experience
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems
- Exposure to multi-site or regional HR support
Travel
- Approximately 10–20% travel across supported locations
