Printing Press Operator
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Printing Press Operators for a commercial printing company in Brainerd, MN. In this role, you'll operate printing press equipment to produce high-quality print materials while maintaining safety and quality standards. Compensation: $25.00–$30.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday | Hours TBD
Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-time
What You'll Do as a Printing Press Operator:
- Receive job orders and instructions from the supervisor
- Set up printing plates, positioning, and ink coverage for each job
- Run samples and obtain supervisor approval before full production
- Operate the printing press while maintaining quality and alignment
- Monitor and refill ink and dampening systems as needed
- Perform daily cleaning, wash-ups, and major lubrication of the press
- Maintain accurate documentation of press runs
What You Need to Bring to the Printing Press Operator Role:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for the duration of the shift
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards
- Reliable transportation to the Brainerd, MN facility
