Operations Manager
– Construction Health & Safety Division
We are looking to hire an Operations Manager to join our Construction Health & Safety Division in managing numerous occupational health clinics on construction sites in the Mountain, West and Pacific regions.
This is a full‑time position, working Monday – Friday remotely from a home office, with occasional travel and some evening and weekend hours as necessary. Candidates must reside in Nevada, Utah, Arizona or Colorado.
Applicants must have an EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN or RN license.
Pay range: $83,000 – $89,000 annually based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain professional relationships with local and corporate clients, including physicians and other health‑care providers.
Promote Medcor’s ethics and values and ensure adherence to the clinic’s protocol‑based mission.
Supervise clinic staff, managing recruitment, training, performance appraisal, salary administration, and workforce development.
Assist in problem‑solving at sites and ensure proper use of electronic medical records.
Maximize cash flow and volume, and manage the site budget‑setting process.
Monitor performance and take action to meet financial targets and objectives.
Ensure accurate monthly financial billing and contract‑rate compliance.
Maintain standard operating procedures and promote growth in clinic volumes and services.
Coordinate with corporate staff for training needs, IT requirements, staffing, accounting procedures, and supplies.
Organize and lead regular staff meetings and operations management team meetings.
Build relationships with client executives and Medcor corporate office to share information and improve clinic services.
Qualifications
2–4 years of practical health‑care or employee‑health services experience, with managerial or supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of workers’ compensation, occupational health and wellness.
Ability to analyze budgets and financial statements, and to identify variances.
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to client sites and clinics.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, attention to detail, and critical‑thinking skills.
Excellent credibility and respect building with associates and client management.
Operational skill set to identify workflow issues, redesign processes, and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
Strong ethical standards and unwavering integrity.
Must hold an EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN or RN license.
Preferred
Hands‑on medical experience on construction sites.
