Demonstrated experience performing independent examination and analysis of sales and use tax and/or complex corporate returns, records, financial statements, and systems for accuracy, completeness and conformance to statutes and rules Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal tax issues, auditing and accounting theories and principles Experience performing complex, specialized audits Experience justifying and defending audit findings Demonstrated extensive technical expertise in working with large complex (Fortune 500) taxpayersCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The state of North Carolina offers excellent comprehensive benefits.
