Locum - Physician - Surgery - Cardiovascular Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at a 268-bed regional referral center located in the heart of Kearney, Nebraska. This facility serves as a Level 2 trauma center, providing comprehensive care in a supportive environment. We are looking for a skilled surgeon to help with hospital coverage, ensuring top-tier surgical services in our community.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour CT surgery coverage.
- Perform CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) surgeries and valve cases.
- Manage Thoracic cases as part of Level 2 trauma center responsibilities.
- Coordinate with medical staff and assist in patient admissions.
- Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery (Required).
- Active State License (Highly Preferred, will accept IMLC).
- Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications (Required).
- Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred).
- Availability at the time of name clear (Required).
- Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (Required).
License and Certification Requirements
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- State License (preferred, IMLC accepted).
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications.
- Self-Query NPDB report.
