Power Design Engineer (Power / Controls / Testing)
Location: Hybrid | Philadelphia Navy Yard, PA

What You'll Do
- Design and analyze power systems for advanced naval platforms
- Develop control logic and algorithms for power systems
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation
- Work with:
- Rectifiers, inverters, AC/DC converters
- Transformers, relays, UPS systems
- IGBTs and harmonic filters
- Support systems across office, lab, and shipboard environments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or MS EE)
- 3+ years of experience in: Power Electronics / Power Systems, Controls or Testing
- Hands-on experience in at least 2 of the following:
- Power converters (AC-AC, DC-DC, etc.)
- Transformers, relays, UPS
- IGBTs, harmonic filters
U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance
Ability to work onsite 3 days/week (Tuesday through Thursday)
Nice to Have
- Navy or Shipboard experience
- PLC or HMI Programming
- MATLAB or Simulink
