Senior Technology Vendor Program Manager • Remote
In this high‑visibility individual contributor role, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive governance, clarity, and execution across our technology supplier and software portfolio, ensuring our technology investments are intentional, well‑managed, and delivering real value.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle Management:
Maintain a clear view of vendor and application strategy, ownership, and lifecycle; support planning across key stages: sustain, enhance, modernize, and retire; facilitate regular portfolio reviews to track progress, surface risks, and drive decisions.
Vendor Governance & Performance:
Build and maintain vendor scorecards (SLAs, performance, usage, satisfaction); track issues, manage escalations, and ensure follow‑through to resolution; help ensure vendors deliver on commitments and business expectations.
License & Usage Management:
Lead regular license and usage reviews (e.g., purchased vs. used vs. needed); partner with teams to reclaim unused licenses and reduce waste; provide clear insights to support planning and renewal readiness.
Risk & Compliance Coordination:
Partner with Security, Risk, and Legal teams to track vendor risk and compliance requirements; maintain visibility into risk status and help ensure timely remediation.
Renewal Readiness:
Support preparation of structured insights ahead of renewals; enable informed decision‑making; coordinate with Strategic Sourcing to lead negotiations.
Financial & Portfolio Insights:
Analyze usage trends, cost drivers, and portfolio performance; identify inefficiencies and support cost‑optimization efforts; contribute to planning and forecasting discussions with data‑driven insights.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in technology program management, vendor management, or portfolio governance.
Experience working with technology vendors (SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or platforms).
Strong understanding of vendor performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs).
Comfort building and improving processes in evolving environments.
U.S. citizenship required; proof of citizenship will be required at hire.
Compensation
Salary range: $132,000 – $146,000 USD per year. Annual base plus bonus/incentive eligibility based on role and level. Comprehensive benefits package available.
