We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our community in Italian Village. The Maintenance Supervisor position plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise/train/assist Maintenance Techs I, II, & III
- Diagnose and repair major systems
- Oversee and assist with completion of unit turns and work orders
- Manage and/or assist with preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and property/company policies
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Assist with budget planning for maintenance and capital projects
- Ensure the curb appeal of the property including landscaping, snow removal, trash clean up
- Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Performs additional duties as needed to support business operations
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of property maintenance or related experience, including supervisory oversight
- HVAC and CPO certifications
- Ability to manage priorities, budgets, and people effectively
- Working knowledge of maintenance tools, safety procedures and general repair practices
- Must be HVAC certified and have or willing to get CPO certification if applicable
- Strong resident relation skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for the majority of the day
