What You'll Do
- Design, build, and own software across the full stack — frontend through backend, greenfield and legacy alike.
- Contribute to architecture decisions that actually matter, not just rubber-stamp what's already been decided.
- Write clean, testable, production-grade code and hold the bar high through thoughtful code reviews.
- Debug and solve hard problems across distributed systems and multiple platforms.
- Partner closely with product and design — requirements aren't handed to you, they're built together.
- Identify performance and scalability bottlenecks and drive meaningful improvements.
- Stay sharp on emerging technologies and advocate for adoption where it genuinely moves the needle.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping.
- Strong full-stack fluency: TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python — you're comfortable on both sides of the stack.
- Solid fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP — and modern deployment practices.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience that proves the same).
- Strong communicator who makes complexity legible to engineers and non-engineers alike.
Bonus Points
- Experience in fintech or financial data products.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture.
- Exposure to microservices architecture at scale.
- Background in test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
