Position Title: Senior AI Automation Engineer / AI Solutions Architect
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Term: 6-Month W2 Contract, possible extension
Role Overview
- Role is for a Copilot-focused consultant/resource supporting an ongoing client engagement.
- This is a technical AI subject matter expert who can act as the Copilot expert for the client.
- The person will support a fast-moving Copilot rollout where the team is already delivering training sessions and has helped build the adoption framework.
- Need someone who can handle increasing technical demand, including advanced user questions and support tickets, and who can credibly present to board-level and C-suite stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Must have strong technical depth, ideally at a senior/SME level, rather than only adoption or training experience.
- Must be able to answer advanced Copilot questions, including detailed process-oriented questions such as how to perform tasks in Copilot Studio.
- Should have AI, machine learning, automation, or developer-background experience, if direct Copilot experience is limited.
- Should be able to ramp up quickly on Copilot if they come from adjacent AI or technical tooling experience.
- Must have strong executive presence and communication skills, since they will be positioned as the Copilot expert in front of senior leadership and broader business stakeholders.
- Should be consultative and experienced enough to work independently in a high-visibility client environment.
- Preferred profile is an AI SME who can pick up specific tools quickly.

By the end of the engagement you will have:
- Established themselves as the organization's primary technical AI SME.
- Successfully answered and supported advanced Level 400 AI engineering discussions.
- Implemented multiple production-ready AI automation solutions.
- Designed and deployed enterprise AI agents and Copilot extensions.
- Enabled business units to move from AI experimentation to measurable operational outcomes.
- Established technical standards and reusable frameworks that support long-term AI scalability.
