Our client, a cult-favorite premium denim brand, is looking for a full time Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA and is onsite.
This is a great opportunity to join a tight-knit HR team where you will play a hands-on role in supporting employees across the full employee lifecycle. You will work closely with the Employee Relations Manager and serve as a go-to resource for staff across the organization. What you will be doing
- Owning the full onboarding and offboarding process for employees and 1099 consultants, including new hire orientation, required documentation, and equipment returns
- Serving as the primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits enrollment, Paychex, and time clock issues
- Maintaining accurate employee records in Paychex and physical/electronic files, and preparing monthly HR reports including headcount, retention, org charts, and scheduling
- Supporting benefits administration including open enrollment, LOA medical expense collection, and 401k loan follow-up
- Assisting with employee relations matters, SDI/EDD/workers' comp programs, and coordinating ongoing employee engagement activities like weekly lunches and company events
What they are looking for
- 1-2 years of HR experience with a solid understanding of day-to-day HR operations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with experience in Paychex or ADP preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- A proactive, service-oriented communicator who can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
