We are looking to hire an
Operations Manager
to join our Construction Health & Safety Division and manage numerous occupational health clinics on construction sites across the Mountain, West, and Pacific regions. The role is full‑time, based remotely with required travel and some evening/weekend work. Candidates must reside in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or Colorado and have an EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or RN license. Salary ranges from $83,000 to $89,000 annually based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Manage local and corporate client relationships
Develop professional and personal relationships that engender trust and respect

Understand the organizational environment of the clinics
Provide management and leadership of staff at clinic sites, including:
Supervise staff with responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivation, wage and salary administration, documented & timely feedback, performance appraisal, goal development, and procedure creation to ensure goal achievement
Assist with problem solving at sites and the proper use of electronic medical records by staff
Maximize cash flow and volume, and manage the site budget setting process
Monitor performance and act to ensure financial targets and objectives are met
Ensure accurate monthly financial billing and contract rate compliance
Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and utilized in clinics, while fostering growth in clinic volumes and services
Develop relationships with client executives, supervising physicians, and other local health care providers as needed
Work closely with Medcor corporate office to share information, improve quality of clinic services, and solve field problems
Coordinate with corporate, training needs, local client relations, Medcor and client IT staff for computer requirements, Medcor HR for staffing needs, and Medcor accounting to confirm accounting procedures
Ensure medical and office supplies are available
Support training via Medcor training department and other development of staff as needed
Institute and participate in regular staff meetings and operations management team meetings
Work effectively and relate well with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
Qualifications
2–4 years of practical experience in a health care environment or employee health services with management/supervisory experience
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
Working knowledge of workers’ compensation and occupational health and wellness
Ability to understand, question, and speak to variances associated with budgets and monthly financials
Availability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit client sites and clinics
Ability to multi‑task, be prepared, prioritize, follow through, pay attention to detail, and think critically daily
Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with associates and client management
Ability to effectively manage day‑to‑day operations
Solid operational skills; ability to recognize workflow problems, redesign workflows, and create buy‑in from all customers on change
Strong ethics and unwavering integrity
EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or RN license
Residence in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or Colorado, and proximity to a major metropolitan airport
