Sample / Material Logistics Coordinator
$28 - $32/hr with medical benefits available at a cost
1 year initial contract with possibility of extension
100% onsite in Madison, WI
M-F 9 am to 5 pm shift
Orion Project Services and our largest US client are teaming up for an exciting contract opportunity for Sample / Material Logistics Coordinator local to Madison, WI! Our client is seeking candidates with prior sample coordination and biotech industry experience.

Responsibilities include:
- Shipping: Coordinate and execute shipments of primarily non-hazardous research materials, including temperature-controlled items, e.g. peptides, proteins, monomers, to internal & other approved sites following IATA/DOT and external practices/procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare, review and process shipping documentation, e.g. BOL, packing lists and US Custom forms.
- Receiving: Receive, catalog, and store chemical compounds (e.g. peptides and amino acids / monomers) received from other internal locations and suppliers in laboratory freezers.
- Inventory Support: Onsite material inventory management, including assist with compound counts and maintaining accurate, organized records.
- Manage Incoming Receiving Area
- Receive delivered goods, process "Goods Receipt
