Pay: $24-25/hr Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00a-3:00p or 6:00a-4:00p Location: Kiel, WI Position Overview The Skilled CNC Setup Operator will set up and operate CNC machines, perform production runs, inspect parts for quality, and support overall shop efficiency. This role works with a variety of machines and products based on customer needs while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Essential Responsibilities

Perform typical machine shop operations
Setup and operate CNC machinery and tooling
Read and interpret blueprints to manufacture parts accurately
Inspect machined products to ensure customer specifications are met
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions
Complete and maintain production paperwork and documentation
Develop processes and tooling from blueprints
Perform preventive and routine machine maintenance
Train and assist new and current employees as needed
Operate forklifts to move materials and deliveries
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications

Technical school certification OR 2-3 years of CNC setup experience in a machine shop environment required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members
Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
Commitment to safety procedures and company policies

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and climb stairs/ladders
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to work with small parts and measurement tools requiring close visual attention
Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots
