Lead DataCenter Network Technician
What this role does:
Own onsite escalation for physical layer: network and structured cabling.
What You'll own:
- Tier 3 escalation for network + cabling issues
- Fiber troubleshooting (faults, transceivers, patch panels)
- Testing and validation (VFL, power meters, light levels)
- Structured cabling repairs and remediation
- Post-repair validation (LLDP, connectivity, optical levels)
- Documentation and escalation to network engineering
Must-have Experience:
- Strong Fiber and Cabling experience (single-mode, multi-mode, standards)
- Experience with fiber tools (VFL, OTDR, power meters, fiber scopes)
- Basic network diagnostics (link status, light levels)
- Data center experience (3+ years)
Nice to have:
- BICSI, CCNA, or similar certifications
- Experience with high-speed optics (100G+)
- Exposure to GPU / AI infrastructure
Salary & Benefits:
