Production Manager
Location: Brookville, IN area
Compensation: $110,000–$140,000
We are seeking a Production Manager for a growing manufacturing operation in the Brookville, Indiana area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, hands-on leader who is eager to make an impact on plant efficiency, production performance, safety, and quality.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering or manufacturing background who is ready to step into a high-visibility leadership position and help drive operational improvements. The right person will be smart, practical, energetic, and excited to roll up their sleeves to improve processes and support a production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support production team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and overall plant performance
- Oversee execution of the production schedule and coordinate labor to meet operational demands
- Develop, track, and report key production KPIs
- Create, improve, and maintain operating procedures and best practices
- Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to improve workflow and solve production issues
- Train and develop production employees on process discipline, safety, and operational standards
- Support recruiting, performance management, and team development efforts
- Assist with troubleshooting quality concerns and improving manufacturing consistency
- Contribute to capital projects and broader operational improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
- 5+ years of manufacturing, production, quality, or operations experience
- 5+ years of production supervision or leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment that fabricates or produces engineered products is highly preferred
- Proven ability to improve systems, drive accountability, and increase efficiency
