A nationally recognized, culinary-driven restaurant group is conducting a confidential search for an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations at a premier upscale concept in Austin, TX. About the Role
The Executive Chef will own the full scope of BOH strategy and execution — from menu development and recipe costing to training infrastructure and operational audits. You'll work in close partnership with divisional leadership and the GM to drive quality, culture, and financial performance.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all BOH operations with a focus on purchasing consistency, inventory, and food cost control
- Research, develop, and execute seasonal menus in partnership with divisional culinary leaders
- Lead BOH training programs in collaboration with divisional trainers and chefs
- Conduct quarterly operational audits of BOH systems and SOPs
- Manage recipe costing and recipe book maintenance
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop all BOH employees and management
- Champion teamwork and foster a culture of care and accountability
What You Bring
- 5+ years of Executive Chef experience in a full-service restaurant
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing kitchen teams
- Expertise in BOH systems, food costing, and operational best practices
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 – $100,000/year + quarterly bonus
