Small commercial real estate company in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a senior bookkeeper to replace the current retiring bookkeeper. The company has been around over 40 years and they own and manage over 20 commercial properties. It's a great work atmosphere and the work/life balance is fantastic. Responsibilities include: Weekly Payroll processing in coordination with Paychex, A/R and A/P for the commercial properties and the owners personal books, assisting with rent billing, union compliance, quarterly payroll tax preparation, workers comp. audits and assisting the controller with year end general ledger cleanup ( The controller does the monthly general ledger closing). Strong exposure to MRI software is a big plus. This is basically a 9-5 job with extremely minimal overtime from time to time. This is an in office position, salary to $80,000 plus a nice bonus, 401k plan, medical and more.
