As part of Allianz's global network, the team leverages international expertise while maintaining a strong local presence to address the unique needs of businesses in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
The Impact You Will Have Reporting to the Regional Head of Financial Lines, you will proactively support the preparation of the underwriting process, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed efficiently and accurately at the preparatory level. By delivering effective and efficient underwriting support, you will enhance the experience for both internal and external customers. Additionally, you will work closely with other functions to ensure timely and accurate policy administration, supporting seamless operations and driving success.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Underwriting Support: Assist in underwriting new and renewal accounts, prepare relevant client/market research and claims data, and support risk pricing using global tools.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure underwriting compliance with LoB governance frameworks and achieve contract certainty at inception.
- Policy Documentation: Maintain accurate policy files, ensure proper documentation issuance, and support administration of International Insurance Programs.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Facilitate timely and accurate premium booking, credit control, and collaborate with other functions to resolve account queries.
- Market Management: Coordinate and align activities with Market Management teams.
- Internal Relationship Building: Foster relationships with internal teams involved in underwriting processes, such as MMC, Claims, and Operations.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Risk Assessment and Management: Ability to evaluate inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to the Line of Business (LoB) at a basic level.
- Pricing and Market Management: Analyze performance against benchmarks to ensure progress and satisfactory outcomes, with awareness of market operations, business, and customer needs.
- Contract Drafting and Interpretation: Assist in development and implementation of robust contract wordings at a basic level.
- Policy Management: Intermediate understanding of the policy administration lifecycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellations.
- Core Skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), influencing, and analytical skills to effectively express ideas, motivate others, and analyze data to draw conclusions. A customer service mindset is essential.
- Qualifications and Language Proficiency: Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, or a related discipline, with fluency in Swedish and strong English language skills.
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

- Duration approx. 12 months (with possibility of extension)
- Working hours: 20 hours/week
- Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
For Sweden, the salary range for this role will be SEK 31,064.58 to SEK 36,102.08 gross per month on a full-time basis and will be prorated according to the agreed working hours. The final amount may vary depending on the candidate's educational qualifications.
