We are seeking a highly capable S enior Mechanical Design Engineer (contract/temporary) to support ongoing product development and improvement efforts. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on improving existing designs, building hardware, and driving real-world performance. The ideal candidate has 8 years of experience, strong Onshape proficiency, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative onsite environment. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and improve components and systems based on existing products (“like design”) Develop and release mechanical designs using Onshape Drive improvements in performance, manufacturability, and reliability Support testing, root cause analysis, and design iteration Prototype and evaluate alternative design approaches Contribute to system integration (mechanisms, motion systems, assemblies) Develop and refine assembly and test processes Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams Build, assemble, and validate prototypes and hardware hands-on Compensation details: 70-100 Hourly Wage PIdf2607b4adfa-25448-40549673
