Sterling Engineering is hiring a Mechanical Designer & Drafter for a growing, internationally recognized manufacturer of specialized industrial machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Create sets of drawings of mechanical components using 3-D modeling per machine order
- Create mechanical bills of materials per machine order.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and technology advancements to machine designs.
- Create technical documentation and user manuals.
- Assist sales department and production team with technical information and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in mechanical drafting, design, or engineering-related roles
- Strong proficiency with 3D CAD design software (Inventor would be ideal)
- Experience creating manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
