Mechanical Engineer – Electric Marine Systems
We are an advanced maritime technology company developing next-generation zero-emission marine vessels designed to transform clean waterborne transportation. Our team combines expertise across aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems, and marine engineering to build highly efficient electric hydrofoiling vessels that redefine the movement of people and goods across coastal environments.
We operate in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment focused on rapid innovation, high-performance product development, and scalable manufacturing.
The Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of major mechanical systems within next-generation electric marine platforms, supporting development from concept through production and deployment.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations to deliver robust, manufacturable, and highly reliable systems for production vessels.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of cross-functional mechanical systems for electric marine platforms
- Own system development through the full product lifecycle including procurement, testing, validation, production support, and implementation
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and production-ready engineering drawings using industry-standard CAD tools
- Design components and assemblies for multiple manufacturing processes including machining, composites, injection molding, bending, and formed sheet materials
- Select appropriate materials, coatings, and surface finishes to ensure durability and environmental resistance
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to support production readiness and quality control processes
- Support system testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with operators and stakeholders to improve usability, maintainability, and system performance
- Contribute to continuous product improvements within a fast-paced engineering and production environment
Required Qualifications
