Job Full Description Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk Pay: $18.50/hour Location: Shawnee Job Type: Full-Time Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk for a warehouse facility in Shawnee, KS. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring products are available to meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
- Physically count product and verify quantities in the system
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory
- Review and correct negative inventory reports
- Work with internal teams to resolve stock location issues
- Assist with order processing and order dropping functions as needed
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to determine freight carriers
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- 10-key experience preferred
- Experience with JDE or other warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Ability to operate or become certified on an Order Picker / Cherry Picker
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
