We're partnering with our client, a leading entertainment service provider, to find a talented Experiential Designer. This temp role is based within their Experiences Creative Studio, focused on creating immersive venues and engaging experiences. The position involves translating creative concepts into real-world designs to captivate guests.
Experiential Designer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to establish and uphold the creative vision, visual language, and design standards for attractions and environments throughout all development stages.
- Transform team discussions into visual outputs such as layouts, mood boards, sketches, and 3D models to guide the design process.
- Develop comprehensive design packages and reference materials for external vendors, including material and color references, graphics, and detailed shop drawings.
- Work with production teams to create proof-of-concept mockups, ensuring design feasibility and quality.
- Oversee on-site creative execution during construction, installation, and programming phases to ensure standards are maintained.
Experiential Designer Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in experiential retail, exhibition, theatrical, or location-based entertainment design, with hands-on site and studio experience.
- Proven ability to work on both temporary and permanent environment projects.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and applying visual identity to environmental design.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating intellectual property into immersive environments with a diverse portfolio.
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as SketchUp, Maya, Blender, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
