Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform a variety of routine clerical duties including typing, record keeping and answering phones. Prepare correspondence and process various documents which may include schedules, work orders, purchase orders, invoices, time sheets, reports or revenue for deposit. Operate departmental equipment as required. Travel to post office for mail and money orders. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of North Slope Borough organization, operations, policies and procedures. Skill in using personal computers and a variety of software applications.
Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses Required
High school graduate or G.E.D/or, a combination of 12 years of education and related work experience. Inupiat Speaking [ONLY at A&F Tax Audit/Assessing Division] Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check within 60 days of hire.
