Working remotely on a 6-month contract, the Senior Platform Engineer will support the day-to-day operations of enterprise application platforms, automate processes, and ensure the reliable delivery of business services across various integration, identity, and containerized environments.
Key responsibilities
Maintain, monitor, patch, and upgrade application and middleware environments, ensuring operational reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system implementations, upgrades, and production rollouts
Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues while performing root cause analysis
Required qualifications
Advanced configuration management skills with Ansible
Extensive experience in Unix/Linux systems administration
Proficiency in shell scripting using Bash and Python
Experience with Kubernetes and Rancher 2
Familiarity with Oracle middleware stack and cloud platforms like AWS
