Adecco is hiring for a temporary position for a client located in Syracuse, NY This is temporary and can either be 1st shift or 2nd shift 1st- 6:00am-2:30pm-Monday-Friday 2nd- 1:00pm-11:30pm-Monday-Thursday Payrate-$17.75 Position Summary Material Handler Client is seeking a dependable Temporary Material Handler to support operations in our Laser Department. This position is responsible for removing laser-cut parts from steel skeletons, organizing and palletizing finished parts. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to safely handle metal parts in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Remove laser-cut parts from steel skeletons. • Sort, organize, and stack finished parts onto pallets. • Inspect parts for obvious defects and quality concerns. • Follow work instructions and production schedules. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. • Report equipment issues, damaged parts, or safety concerns to supervisors. • Assist with other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Manufacturing, warehouse, production, construction, or general labor experience preferred but not required. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. • Regular handling of metal parts and materials. • Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment. • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
