Technical Analyst – Azure Cloud Migration
Our client, a global financial services firm in the Asset Management space, is undertaking a strategic cloud consolidation initiative in partnership with Microsoft. This 12-month program focuses on migrating enterprise workloads to Azure, including assets currently hosted on-premises, as well as across AWS and Oracle environments. We are seeking a Technical Analyst to act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, acquired entities, and Microsoft delivery teams, ensuring a seamless and efficient migration process.
Serve as a bridge between business units, acquired entities, and Microsoft delivery teams to ensure clear communication and alignment Conduct early-stage discovery across systems, infrastructure, and data environments for entities not yet fully integrated Analyze application landscapes, integrations, and dependencies to support Azure migration planning Identify risks, gaps, and constraints that may impact migration timelines or business continuity Document current-state architecture, processes, and operational requirements Support prioritization and sequencing of migration activities based on complexity and business impact Provide insights to optimize resource capacity planning and reduce strain on migration teams Ensure alignment with target architecture, as well as security and compliance standards
Strong experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role within enterprise environments Hands-on experience with Azure cloud migration projects Experience working across hybrid environments (on-prem, AWS, Oracle, etc.) Ability to interface directly with external partners (preferably Microsoft or similar vendors) Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, and system dependencies Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in financial services or asset management environments Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation or cloud consolidation initiatives Familiarity with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance frameworks
