Job Title: Deburr Operator/Boxer Reports To: Production Supervisor Position Summary: The Deburr Operator is responsible for operating automated deburring equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to safety and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Auto Deburr equipment
- Inspect and measure parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Communicate quality issues (e.g., burr defects) to saw operator
- Follow direction from Section Leader and Production Supervisor to meet production goals and deadlines
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading
- Complete production records accurately each shift
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
- Support other tasks or assignments as needed during downtime
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and reach throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
