About this role Job SummaryReporting to the Chief Therapist or designee, the Physical Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic interventions for patients across the lifespan.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams. Physical Therapists play a critical role in helping patients restore mobility, improve function, and enhance overall quality of life.
Care is provided in alignment with the philosophy, standards, and clinical objectives of the department while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Minimum QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
ExperiencePrevious outpatient physical therapy experience strongly preferred.
Licensure and CertificationCurrent license to practice Physical Therapy in Massachusetts required.
BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
Skills and Competencies Strong clinical expertise appropriate for the patient population served
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in patient care decisions
Professional and courteous communication with patients, families, and colleagues
Ability to prioritize workload and respond effectively to urgent patient needs

Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
