We are seeking an IT Operations & Systems Support Specialist to support the technology infrastructure that powers our warehouse and e-commerce operations. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems, including network infrastructure, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, warehouse devices, and user support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Key responsibilities and how you will make an impact:
IT Infrastructure, Network & Security Support
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, switches, routers, access points, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure security and reliability.
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including patch management, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities to support operational resilience.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve infrastructure and telecommunications issues.
- Maintain network documentation, asset inventories, and support infrastructure lifecycle planning.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, security, and system performance
Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Management
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, compliance policies, software deployment, and security configurations.
- Support identity and access management, user provisioning, MFA, and security best practices.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of Microsoft security and endpoint management solutions.
Warehouse Technology Support
- Support warehouse technology including Zebra printers, barcode scanners, mobile devices, handheld terminals, shipping workstations, and label printing systems.
- Troubleshoot issues affecting warehouse operations, shipping processes, inventory management, and order fulfillment systems.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure technology supports operational efficiency and business continuity.
- Maintain and support hardware used in logistics and distribution environments.
Help Desk & Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system, application, printing, connectivity, and endpoint issues.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Support, configure, and troubleshoot Acumatica ERP, WMS, and other company platforms; manage user access and permissions; and assist with system enhancements, integrations, and ongoing business support.
- Respond to support requests in a timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, wireless networks, VPNs) and troubleshooting network environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID) and Microsoft Intune.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, endpoint management, and device support.
- Experience supporting warehouse technology, including printers, scanners, and handheld devices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and user support skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or e-commerce operations.
- Experience with Zebra printers, barcode scanners, shipping systems, ERP, WMS, and logistics platforms.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and endpoint security tools.
- Microsoft certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, or related).
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
Position Details:
- Occasional after-hours support may be required for critical operational issues and infrastructure maintenance.
- Primarily based in a warehouse/distribution environment, with regular interaction with warehouse technology and operations teams.
