The Controls Assembly Technician is responsible for building control panels based on engineered drawings and assisting our EI Technicians with wiring of skidded systems. Builds electrical control panels with power feeds up to 600VAC based on engineered drawings. Reads electrical drawings and installs conduit, power, and control wiring. Assists in troubleshooting electrical control panels with power feeds up to 600VAC Assist in configuring Variable Frequency drives, PLCs, and HMIs. Works with Ethernet communication networks. Works collaboratively with Application Engineers and other internal staff. Builds and wires using NEC regulations and UL quality standards. Troubleshoots equipment and system problems utilizing basic test equipment. Accurately prepares required customer and Crane documentation. May perform other duties as assigned.
