I’m working with a crypto-focused fund administrator seeking a
Junior Fund Accounting Associate
to join their operations team. This individual will support daily accounting, reconciliations, and reporting for a wide range of investment products—including cryptocurrencies, NFTs, traditional securities, and derivatives—while working closely with the Director of Fund Accounting.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a background in investment or fund accounting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting & Reconciliation
Manage and maintain financial products including equities, cryptocurrencies, bonds, swaps, options, Forex, mortgages, forwards, NFTs, and futures
Record daily transactions (purchases, sales, income accruals, etc.) in line with internal controls and deadlines
Reconcile cash and positions with external sources, resolving discrepancies as needed
Research and resolve differences between accounting and trade records
Verify market prices for investments per policy and procedures
Valuations & Reporting
Calculate NAV per share for assigned funds and determine dividend/distribution rates
Prepare and review partnership calculations including management fees, distribution waterfalls, and partner allocations
Review performance/incentive fee calculations
Perform month-end close processes, including preparation of general ledgers, financial statements, and investor capital accounts
Client & Audit Interaction
Communicate daily with clients, custodians, and fund counterparties to address and resolve queries
Coordinate year-end audits and tax reporting with auditors and service providers
Facilitate timely data gathering for financial preparation
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in auditing or fund accounting, preferably in investment funds
Working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting systems
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
This is a full-time remote position
