Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ability to move vehicles quickly and safely, with minimal traffic back-up or user wait time. Keep keys to vehicles organized and secure.
- Greets all patients, visitors, and partners who are arriving or exiting Mercyhealth facilities, in a timely, friendly, professional and courteous manner.
- Provides courteous and accurate directions and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff to ensure they understand how to get to requested locations in the hospital or on the grounds. Escorts customers or assist them in or out of vehicles as necessary.
- Ability to perform service recovery.
- Ensure assigned post is always equipped with proper supplies.
- Maintain their uniform and assigned post in a clean and orderly manner that projects a professional image.
- Keeps Security Leadership informed of all activities to ensure the timely communication of all pertinent information.
- Reports all safety and fire hazards observed to Security per department procedure.
- Adheres to Mercyhealth and departmental safety and infection control procedures to foster a safe work environment.
- Participates regularly in departmental in-services and meetings to enhance job performance and improve skill repertory.
Education And Experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 1 year work experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Certification And Licensure
Maintain a valid driver's license.
Must have proof of vehicle insurance.
Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver
Additional Requirements
Passing the Driver's License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring).
Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.

Basic Computer skills preferred; Word/Outlook
Able to interact with customers and communicate clearly
Able to manage anger, fear, hostility and violence from others while following Mercyhealth principles of customer service
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Pay Range:
$15.60 - $23.40
