Certified Athletic Trainer

The certified athletic trainer will work directly with student-athletes at local high schools. Responsibilities include educating athletes on injury prevention as well as evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries. This role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers to coordinate care and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks. Hours vary between clinic and high school sporting events. Athletic coverage during the afternoon, evening, and some weekend events as needed.

Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $48,443.20 per year, exact wage determined by years of related experience. Pay range: $48,443.20-$72,675.20 per year. Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE. Reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate. $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Licensed as an athletic trainer with MN Board of Medical Practice. 2+ years of experience in athletic training setting preferred. Valid driver's license in good standing required. BLS certified required.
