Chesapeake has partnered with a highly respected investment management and advisory firm in their search for a polished and adaptable Contract Recruiter to join its growing Human Resources team. The ideal candidate is a strong utility player who enjoys balancing full-cycle recruiting responsibilities with coordination and administrative support. This individual should be highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and energized by working in a team-focused environment.
Due to upcoming team leave coverage and increased hiring activity, there is strong potential for this role to expand in scope and potentially convert into a permanent opportunity for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts across various business functions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate profiles
- Source, screen, and coordinate interviews with qualified candidates
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience
- Coordinate scheduling, interview logistics, and recruiting documentation
- Assist with onboarding coordination and related HR administrative tasks
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within ATS systems
- Support additional HR and talent acquisition initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of recruiting and/or HR experience
- Experience handling full-cycle recruiting responsibilities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support across functions
- Experience within professional services or financial services environments is a plus
Additional Information
- Contractors will be engaged on a 1099 basis
- Benefits are not offered for this position
- Parking expenses may be factored into hourly compensation considerations
