Overview: As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary strategic partner and point of contact for our valued B2B clients. This role is responsible for orchestrating daily engagement with assigned accounts, driving sustainable revenue and margin growth through a consultative, relationship-first sales approach. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder with a sharp commercial instinct, a proven track record in pipeline development, and deep proficiency in CRM tools to track, analyze, and forecast portfolio growth, and a strong background in B2B sales and account management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required: - Relationship Management: Act as the trusted advisor for assigned accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term loyalty through regular touchpoints and strategic business reviews.
- Strategic Execution: Execute customer strategies including strategic opportunities/projects, analysis, customer pricing, freight contract feedback.
- Commercial Growth: Identify, negotiate, and close up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within your portfolio to consistently meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Develop and maintain a robust, accurate sales pipeline. Proactively forecast account growth and market trends to capitalize on new business avenues.
- Consultative Selling: Deeply understand each client's unique business challenges, industry landscape, and goals to position our solutions effectively and drive measurable value.
- Data & CRM Hygiene: Maintain flawless data integrity within CRM, leveraging CRM insights to track account health, manage tasks, and generate performance reports for leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal and external teams (such as Technical, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing) to ensure seamless delivery on client promises and alignment on growth strategies.
- Operational Support: Manage primary back up (holds, rebills, stock transfers, OOM exceptions, forecasts, escalations).

Qualifications: Experience:
- 5–8 years of successful experience in B2B account management, consultative sales, or business development or relevant work experience.
Core Competencies: - Proven ability to handle complex contract renewals and margin negotiations with a win-win mindset.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to pitch and present to C-level executives.
- A self-starter attitude with a knack for anticipating client needs and resolving issues swiftly and creatively.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- High School Diploma and some College required.
Working Conditions:
- Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.
- Professional, office environment.
- Some travel required.
