Front Office Manager
Springwood Hospitality is now hiring for a full-time Front Office Manager position with a salary up to $22 an hour. The role reports to the General Manager and is classified as salaried and exempt.
The Front Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Office while overseeing and assisting with Housekeeping and Maintenance. This includes personnel, guest service, budget performance, and financial controls.
Prerequisites for this position include two years of experience supervising at least eight associates.
Summary of essential job functions includes the ability to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating. Specific physical requirements include the ability to push or pull 60 pounds, lift and carry 30 pounds, stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, see, hear, speak, and read English. Proficiency in another language may be helpful.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include supervisory skills, property management systems, accounting practices, knowledge of hotel operations, and computer literacy.
Specific responsibilities include maintaining a professional cohesive team, promoting positive morale, completing administrative duties, working within budgeted guidelines, maintaining safety and security practices, ensuring high-quality guest service, and communicating and documenting using internal means.
Working conditions require standing, walking for long periods, flexibility in work schedule, and availability 24/7, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
