As a member of the summer administrative team, the Evaluations/Assessments Assistant will play a key role in supporting the evaluation and assessments of The College Edge program. This position involves assisting in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to evaluate The College Edge students for successful entry to Beacon College or other colleges. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Administer instruction for one of the following College Living Lab workshops as Collect, organize, and maintain evaluation data from professor input Perform preliminary data analysis and assist in the creation of reports (45% of report collection) on evaluation findings Monitor the progress of professor inputs Assist in writing reports to communicate evaluation results to the Associate Director of Admissions Attend all assigned meetings Present at staff training (June 16-20) Understand all program policies, expectations, and procedures Collect student data daily or as directed, in order to inform end-of-program evaluations Review Faculty Daily & Weekly assessment/evaluations, and assist in compiling data for end of program reports All other duties as assigned PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in education, psychology or any related field. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of instructional support practices and college transition or independent living skills. Understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and ethical standards related to student information. Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to follow program schedules and guidelines. Ability to collaborate professionally with students, families, faculty, and staff. Capable of remaining calm, patient, and supportive in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
