- Inspect welded parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- Perform visual inspections and assist with non-destructive testing (NDT) when required
- Verify materials, weld procedures, and equipment meet required specifications
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify defects or non-conformance and communicate corrective actions to production teams
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and welding codes
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes
